Today, I talk about wellness in home creation, which is the fifth lesson in the First Foundation of Home: Mindset & Motivation.
In this episode, we look at wellness, some important aspects of wellness and how it shapes our homes, our homemaking and our experiences of home. I share eight dimensions of wellness and how we can incorporate the different dimensions into our homes and our lives.

Wellness is the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of health.
There are eight dimensions of wellness - mental, emotional, physical, social, spiritual, environmental, vocational and financial. Creating homes that support our well-being incorporates each of these eight dimensions of wellness.
There is a strong interconnection between the difference dimensions of wellness. Each aspect relates to and influences the others.
When we create homes that are centered on our well-being, we consider these different dimensions of wellness and make intentional decisions to support and nurture wellness within our home.
Creating a wellness-centred home doesn't require massive overhauls; it can start with small, actionable and achievable steps today.
